Con/Struct. Justin Plunkett's Fictional Urban Architecture On A Rural Landscape...

Cape Town based artist, designer and photographer Justin Plunkett has very cleverly used photography to construct fictional architectural structures and landscapes.
There's more about Justin here.
And Michael Jantzen's famous Deconstructed Houses featured here may appeal to you too.
My favourite image of Justin's is the first but can you just imagine getting that past a local town planner...

  1. I can't say I like these images but I do love the goat on the pedestrian crossing and in a hurry to get to the other side... It IS real, is it???

  2. Yes indeed, fiction is the best form of reality and still I cringe at the thought of having made the hasty decision of putting the kitchen on the top floor of any of these buildings for the view while chopping the veggies. Imagine having to lug a week's worth of groceries up there. On second thought, since this is only fiction I could afford to put elevators anywhere. Bring on the fantasy. I love them all.

  3. I think they are very cool and if they weren't in danger of falling down, I could live in those crazy buildings :)
