Lest We Forget...

New Zealand commemorated Anzac Day today.
Thousands of people gathered for dawn parades at venues all around the country to pay their respect and give thanks to the many who fought and died in too many wars.
So we might have freedom.
In the words of John F Kennedy,
Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind.
When will the world listen...

  1. Thank you for this Keith, as a child I went many times with my Dad to the Dawn parades and our younger generations are now doing the same - wearing his medals and marching with those others who remember and acknowledge what Anzac Day is all about.
