Back in 2011, Nigeria's first one was made with this plastic consumerable that otherwise might might have ended up in a landfill or worse as a pollutant to our oceans.
With literally millions of these soda bottles littering our countrysides we need constant reminders that they are not just waste but a valuable resource for us to use.
In the Nigerian situation, the free bottles were filled with sand or soil and the thickness of the bottle lined walls makes them earthquake resistant and even bullet proof. Which will be handy for those who live in dodgy areas.
And the interior's temperature can be maintained at a most enjoyable temperature all year round.

Life's so short says Melissa, and what we put ourselves through chasing our tails isn't worth it.
Life in the big city became just so much of a rat race I realised that even if I won, I'd still be a rat.
So I got out of all that bullshit and jellybeans, got away from all the superficial crap that pollutes your mind, body and soul and eight years ago came home to where my roots are.
To where my heart is. To my Whakapapa.
And when I wake in my little caravan in the morning and light the fire or take a minute wandering down to my own most wonderful beach here at Tokomaru Bay, my heart sings. Never mind there's not a lot of money in the jar, and my name won't appear on any rich-list.
I know I'm really a multi-millionaire...

Norway's City Of Trondheim Has The Trampe Cyclocable. It's Like A Ski Lift For Cyclists And Pedestrians...

Norway's beautiful city of Trondheim first installed their famous Trampe Cyclocable, a sort of ski lift for pedestrians and cyclists back in 1993 and have last year installed a better
safer cyclocable.
While purists may scoff at the idea the cyclists of Trondheim, especially the average commuter cyclist and older cyclists, hills can be a real problem but the locals are delighted with
their cycle lift.

The Flying Tortoise Freedom Camping At The Historic Tokomaru Bay...

Way back when, beautiful Tokoramu Bay was originally know as Toka-a-Namu which referred to an abundance of sandflies in the area but those days are gone and the little pests that are left are old and sleepy. And the little town is far from it's heyday back in the early 1900's when this beautiful old New Zealand Shipping Company building was constructed.
Captain James Cook spent time here in 1769 and The Flying Tortoise was at Tokomaru Bay
just a few days ago.
Funny how we just missed each other...
