We've had enough of this mortgage nonsense
said Andrew and Gabriella Morrison.
There's too many bills and too much debt hanging over our heads they said.
And like so many, they've downsized.
They've done it with some style too and that would've come at a price. But they're debt free.
All they need to do now is keep their outgoings to a minimum.
There's more about the Morrisons and their hOMe here.
They say they're living a much simpler and more satisfying life now...

Tim And Hannah's Tiny Mortgage Free Off Grid Cabin Deserves A Big Round Of Applause...
Tim and Hannah's tiny mortgage free off grid cabin with all its innovative, simple and easy to do ideas is deserving of a big round of applause. In fact I'm giving it a standing ovation.
As far as a back to basics tiny home is concerned this little handmade and beautifully rustic 196 square foot cabin in the woods would make even Thoreau proud.
The couple were fortunate enough to have twenty acres of land in California's beautiful Tahoe country and with no blueprints to constrict their imaginations they set about creating and building a space for simply living or should that be living simply.
They've been doing just that for the last couple of years and who knows, may very well keep on doing it forever...

A Very Gorgeous Tiny Boat Roofed Shed In Wales...

Built around 1905, the old clinker has been placed on a frame of four telegraph poles and located 750 feet above sea level near the village of Cemmaes Road near the market town of Machynlleth in mid Wales in the UK.
The magical little shed-dwellers delight has beautiful views of mountains across the valley.
A solar panel feeds a 12 volt battery providing power for a refrigerator, a sound system and a few LED lights. There's a gas hob for cooking.
The shed is made from recycled materials, the windows from a 400 year old house and an old caravan. Corregated iron, wattle and daub, which is a mixture of woven wattle, mud, clay and straw and then covered with liberal coatings of thick bitumen paint.
I do like the way the inside of the boat has been left untouched and will you look at the old French enamelled wood stove from the early 1900's.
There's more to read here and lots of wonderful images here.
Take a look, it's simply gorgeous...
