We've had enough of this mortgage nonsense
said Andrew and Gabriella Morrison.
There's too many bills and too much debt hanging over our heads they said.
And like so many, they've downsized.
They've done it with some style too and that would've come at a price. But they're debt free.
All they need to do now is keep their outgoings to a minimum.
There's more about the Morrisons and their hOMe here.
They say they're living a much simpler and more satisfying life now...

The Fun Filled Adventures Of The Bumfuzzle Family...
If you've been following the wonderful adventures of the Bumfuzzle Family, you'd know that Pat, Ali, Quest and Lowe have moved from sailing a catamaran around the world to sailing a forty three foot Spindrift Pilothouse motorsailer and they're now all travelling in a 1966, twenty seven foot Dodge Traveco Camper exploring the America's interior.
Before all that, explains Pat, Ali started dating me when she was sixteen and just couldn't get enough, so, eventually she married me. She sailed around the world with me, raced across America with me, drove from Alaska to Argentina and all over Europe in a '58VW Bus with me, finally allowed me to impregnate her, drove to Mexico in a '65 Porsche 365 with me, gave birth to our Mexican baby girl called Quest, pronounced West, moved on to another sailboat, got frisky with me and had a Mexican baby boy this time called Lowe, pronounced Low.
We sailed all over Mexico and we've got a pretty good life. We take a lot of photos of the kids so they know they had fun when they were little, before they grew up and hated us.
Haha, there's more about the wonderful fun family Bumfuzzle here and on their blog here.
The world desperately needs more Bumfuzzles...

HEALTH WARNING: It's Possible That Living In A Tiny House Will Cause You To Live Longer...
It's quite possible that the health benefits that come with living in a tiny house could cause you to live longer.I have no scientific or medical evidence to back up that claim. There are no statistics that I'm aware of to back up my theory but I believe it's true and here's why.
You'll spend less of your precious time working to pay for it, the insurance, the rates, the maintenance. Hence less stress.
And then there's material possessions. You simply won't need as many so you won't have to earn money to buy them. You can go window shopping which is fun and it won't cost a penny.
You'll spend less of your precious time commuting to and from work in rush hour traffic. Hence less stress. You might be able to live without an automobile, wow, no parking problems, no costly repairs and on-road costs. You might ride a bicycle or take public transport. That's radical. That's also less money you have to earn. That's good, that's less stressful.
You'll spend less on medical bills.
You'll have fewer outgoings and less or no debt and being in debt is very stressful.
You'll have more of your precious time to spend doing the things that really matter like spending quality time with family and friends.
You'll have more time for leisure activities. More time in the outdoors, more time in the garden growing your own food.
More time for healthy living.
As you know, stress is a huge contributing factor to heart disease. And stress is a huge contributing factor to a range of cancers.
So surely making your life stress free will cause you to live longer.
That's my theory and I subscribe to it.
You might like to too...

An Indoor Underfloor Hot Tub. Ideal For Tiny Home Dwellers...
A great space saving idea if you live in a tiny home but just can't live without a hot tub. This installation, designed by Weir Phillips Architects for an Australian client with a three bedroom apartment, could easily be incorporated in a tiny home.
When the hot tub isn't in use with the lid in an open position, it simply gets walked on.
So if you fancy being able to walk on water without getting your feet wet or have somewhere to sail your toy boats or play with your rubber ducky in the privacy of your own tiny house, then this idea could be the answer...
