A Very Gorgeous Little Rocket Mass Type Terracotta Stove...

A friend of mine found this gorgeous little
Rocket mass type terracotta stove at a farmers market in Switzerland and just had to bring it home to New Zealand.
It's one of the cutest little cookers or heaters I've seen and with the addition of a small (55mm) flue with a couple of bends in it to protrude through an opening in the window, it will sit very well on a table in her housetruck.
And cooking and heating will be only
a few twigs away...

It was while he was writing one of his famous plays that a shopping list he'd written to remind himself to pop down to Richards Camping Goods where there were discounted tents in the store's winter sale, got included in some notes Bill's secretary was typing up.
Somehow Bill missed it when he was reading his final draft, the proof readers didn't understand it but rather than make fools of themselves by querying the master, they just ignored it and it was published.
Bill as you might imagine, was really surprised when he went to the first night's performance of his new play and there was the Duke of Gloucester raving on about now being the winter of our discontent...

A couple of years ago, a group of friends in the city of Joensuu in Eastern Finland got together and made themselves a very different sort of pleasure craft, the ultimate floating sauna,
known as a Saunalautta.
What an idyllic way to relax. Lie in the sun in a hammock, jump into the very cold water and if you survive, get right back in the sauna and then you jump in the lake again. You've got the idea.
And this floating pleasure raft is available for rent should the idea of a holiday in Finland appeal to you. And why not. Joensuu is located at the mouth of the Pielisjoki River on the very beautiful Saimaa Lake system.
But you might build your own floating sauna.

Mr Tosi. It is none of my business how you conduct your mayoralty of Verona but if the media reports are true then I wish you to know that I find your behavior towards your fellow man absolutely disgusting.
That you with your right-wing stance should impose fines on a 'local homeless charity' for doing unto others that which they'd choose to have done to them' is in my opinion, a despicable act against humanity.
So Mr Tosi, I'm nominating you for the 2014 Most Despicable Person Of The Year Award.
Don't think that you'll score an easy victory though, there are plenty of other arrogant bastardos like you in the world vying for the title but I'm sure you're in with a damn good chance.
