Crazy Paving? I don't think so.
The Dutch city of Rotterdam could be the first city in the world to have its streets paved with recycled plastic bottles.
A surface some claim to be greener, quicker to lay and more reliable than asphalt.
Looks like a great idea to me...

The Kantoor Karavaan. A Wonderful Workspace Well Away From The Office...
The Dutch designers of the Kantoor Karavaan, translated, the office caravan, thought the workplace might be more productive if its location was more attractive.
So the idea of the Kantoor Karavaan was conceived. A great idea so people could rent one of these delightful mobile office spaces designed to suit their requirements and positioned in a conducive and pleasing environment.
All they need to do is bring their laptop
and if they can, get to work...

The World's First Solar Bike Road Opened Recently In The Netherlands...
Approximately two hundred feet of the world's first solar road opened in the Amsterdam suburb of Krommenie on November twelve.
When this test road is completed it will be over three hundred and twenty feet long and provide enough electricity to power three households.
It was only a matter of time before some enterprising and innovative country or city used flat road surfaces as solar bases.
Solar panels are embedded into concrete modules that fit together and have a layer of textured glass laid on top, tilted so the rain will wash the dirt off, keeping the surfaces clean and guaranteeing maximum exposure to the sunlight.
The future of the solaroad looks bright for road information signs, and traffic lights with electric cars and bicycles being able to plug into the recharging points along the road.
The Netherlands has an international reputation as a bike friendly nation with some eighteen million bicycles and over twenty two thousand miles of bike lanes.
This first little solar road is just the beginning and is sure to get the green light to go places...

Stephane Malka's Urban Dwelling Made From Recycled Doors And Windows Is Known As Parasitic Architecture...
The Paris based architect, graffiti artist and conceptual designer Stephane Malka does more than just think outside the square.
He attaches his out of leftbank field add-ons known as Parasitic Architecture to the bare walls of existing buildings and structures.
He created this 'Bow House' in a public plaza
in Netherland's city of Heerlen in
the Province of Limburg.
If you're in the area, go and have a look.
But be careful. It might grow on you...
