All Is Forgiven Charlie...
Twelve members of Charlie Hebdo's staff may have been murdered just days ago but that is no reason for the irreverent satirical magazine to shut its doors, roll over and die.
Their latest cover published today, features cartoonist Renald Luzier and depicts the Prophet Muhammad, a tear on his cheek, saying 'tout est pardonne', all is forgiven. I am Charlie.
Today's edition will have a print run of three million copies and will be available in sixteen languages thanks to financial donations by Google and the French media. Charlie's production run is usually around sixty thousand.
The pen may well be mightier than the sword but this latest cover will no doubt fan the flames of a fire that is not likely to be extinguished ...

Dear Mr Google...
Unfortunately I've put myself in a position of needing you more than you need me.
Once people are hooked into a system such as yours I'm sure you care very little about any ongoing responsibility you might have towards the millions of Bloggers who conscientously post their thoughts and ideas to their own particular and personal audiences. Who, on a regular if not a daily basis, enjoy the amusing, the entertaining, the unusual, the informative and the inspiring offerings.
Many Bloggers with a capital B Mr Google, post because of a love of communication and know and enjoy the fact that they have a responsibility to their faithful readers.
And you Mr Google have a responsibility
to your Bloggers.
The most frustrating thing Mr Google is that I can't just phone you as I could a plumber or an electrician, because you don't actually exist.
The world has done your bidding Mr Google and come over to your way of thinking and doing things. As if there's a choice.
And you sit there in your omniscient manner and think how great you are.
And I'm sitting here thinking how great it would be if you'd fix the BlogThis button...

It's Not The End Of The World But It's Close...
It's not the end of the world but it's pretty serious.
Lives may not be lost and there won't be millions made homeless but The Picasa/Google BlogThis Button is not working and there's a lot of frustrated bloggers out there including me who are unable to upload photo images.
Hopefully Google will get their act together and fix the problem as soon as possible.
Or even sooner..
