If your vehicle makes funny noises then this old style garage will certainly be able to help.
A friend called in there the other day with what sounded like a ping ping ping. Oh no said Fred the Fix-It-Fellow, putting his stethoscope a little closer to the power source, I can definately hear a klunk in there and listen, yep, there's a slight thud too. Wow this is your lucky day.
It was her lucky day.
It could have been clank thud klank...

What happens when it goes Thud Thud Thud?
ReplyDeleteA thud thud thud is often related to a flat tire, you know Andrew, one of those round black things attached to the wheel of one's vehicle, as you keep driving along the highway thinking, I wonder what that thud thud thud is. Has the potential to be very expensive, much more than a clank thud klank...
DeleteHow about the "Ka Chiing!" of the chash register as the bill adds up?
ReplyDeleteAh, the old Ka Ching, music to the ears of some and a sound that can strike panic into the hearts and pockets of many.
DeleteNot a sound that's heard much these days due to electronic transactions but who knows, maybe the current system will go Ka Put and Ka Ching will be back in vogue...
It looks as valid as some methods I've seen!
ReplyDeleteNot nearly as expensive as fixing an old ticker
ReplyDeleteUsed to pay for the thud-clunks with the "zip-zap" machine. The pace of change is exhausting. Which reminds me that there is a "pist-pist" out of said exhaust muffler!
ReplyDeleteAh yes Bill, the old ZipZap. I had one in the last century. Not too many of those machines around now...
DeleteThe only sound to be heard after my vehicle has had its ping, plunk, klunk, thud, klank fixed is the horrible sounds of agony from my tortured credit card!!.
ReplyDeleteThis brings back memories of growing up in the 50s. Mom would tell Dad the car was making this or that noise. Dad would drive the car and tell her there was no such noise. This would be repeated many times.
