The Salut Salon Quartet Presents A Brilliantly Funny Musical Experience...

The Salut Salon Quartet are four extremely talented  women based in Hamburg who know how to seduce and entertain an audience with passionate virtuosity and charm.
Have a look here at this wonderfully funny clip, as they present their signature comedic 'Instrumental Acrobatics' piece
titled Wettstreit zu Viert.
The group are Angelika Bachmann on violin, Iris Siegfried, violin, Anne-Monika von Twardowski on piano and Sonja Lena Schmid on cello.
They do it for me. I give them five stars.
But what would I know...

Dear Mummy And Daddy...

Dear Mummy and Daddy.
You'll both be so pleased that I've left my last boyfriend, you remember, the merchant banker who was twenty one years older than me.
Well, you'll be thrilled to know that
I met a very nice English boy called Andrew when I was in Germany.
He's really wonderful and I've never been so happy. And he's only one year older than me.
Anyway the other great news is that we're both coming home to London next month and Andy's so looking forward to meeting you.
I'm enclosing a recent photo of us in the square where we met in Hamburg...

A Topsy Turvy World...

Real estate may be going through all sorts of upside down antics where you live but this upside down house built in Germany's Hamburg takes some beating.
Of course we living 'Down Under' are used to this sort of thing and learn at an early age to never stand under a toilet...
