Hugging Is So Good For You...

Hugging is just so good for you.
Scientists have recently revealed what most of us have known for a long time.
That hugging is an imperative for keeping us well balanced and in good health.
The more we hug, the healthier we'll be.
A good hug can give us self esteem, boost oxytocin levels and help banish loneliness, depression, anxiety and stress.
Even the common cold which is sometimes likened to a little hurt can be made to disappear with a good hugging. The more we hug, the less we hurt. A longer hug will help lift serotonin levels, elevating mood and assisting to create happiness. Hugs strengthen the immune systems, can activate and balance the body's white cells. We all need many hugs a day.
Consider yourself hugged...

  1. Sending lots of hugs your way, but will save a bunch for my wife.

  2. All very true......... Nice to wake up to a good group hugging.....

  3. Yes, yes.
I have healed my childrens' fevers by getting in bed beside them and cuddling them.
Everybody can benefit from a good long hug.
But Osteoperosis sufferers should hug gently!

  4. That goes for you too Keith.

  5. Of all good things you can do to comfort yourself and people around you hugs must be the first choise.
I'm a lucky person who gets a lot of hugs in different ways. Some physically and some send by substitute - the internet. All are welcome but I didn't know how important it is to give and to recieve them. I look at todays post as a BIG hug from you, Keith, to all your followers. One is returning to you from Denmark.

  6. Yes please... I like lots of hugs... And lots of hugs to you Keith.XXXX

  7. Just don't hug me when you are sick!! Otherwise, 100% belief in the power of hugs.

  8. Big hugs to you! Sorry it has been a while. Getting back into the blogging thing again this year. Haven't seen TFT Orewa way recently - or are you in stealth mode? love V x
