Dede Suryana Tries Surfing Through Waves Of Trash Off The Coast Of Indonesia's Java...

What a load of rubbish!
Indonesia's most famous surfer, Dede Suryana, doesn't get any better breaks by being a local.
If he wants to play in Indonesia's wonderful surf he has to put up with indulging his pleasure in all this pollution.
It's not at all glamorous or fun even though the expert young surfer looks poised and balanced as truckloads of trash roll around him.
Surfing photographer Zak Noyle couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Food wrappers, shoes, bottles and soccer balls, anything you can imagine is there except the,
oh no there is a kitchen sink...

  4. A very graphic picture. The world's biggest rubbish dump is a floating one, creating enormous oceanic gyres. It's a major problem... Through humankinds laziness?
