  2. Somewhere in that crowd is a sheep dog, assiduously biting the ankles of RV owners.

  3. Your rig or mine would really stick out in that crowd.

  4. Baaaa ! That gathering of Tupperware is called a Rally . Over Easter the Jaffas (Aucklanders ) are holding the Campervan clubs annual Easter Rally and there will be approximately 7-800 Vans each with a couple of old farts like myself . There will be lots of Country music , Dancing and entertainment for the troops . There is no doubt ,us Baby Boomers know how to have a good time . Keith all the Tupperware manufacturers will be there . You might like to go and trade your lovely Flying Tortoise for something warmer .

    1. Haha Glovebug and thankyou but no thankyou. I went to a tupperware rally once.
It was one of the worst experiences of my life and I vowed never to go to another.
And don't worry about me being warm, TFT is well insulated and wonderfully warm with its Little Cracker fireplace...

  5. Very funny........how squeezed we all are, into the folds of bland consumerism.

  8. Be honest now Keith... You just want to bask in the glory of the whiteness and standard decal packages of all of those RVs--don'tcha?

  9. WE have not attended one of these yardings yet and the pix that started it doesn't portend well for us ever doing so.. At this point in time I can't think anything more horrid when on leave, to be herded among that. yuk.

  10. I grew up with the top pix, but on sighting the next one inkling that I may have had to join one of the "rallies" has dissipated completely.. Not for us, sorry.
