
Jim Reinders made it as a memorial to his dad and it's now well established as a tourist destination with around 80.000 visitors annually.
I guess it's a place with low rainfall so they're not likely to grow much...

I have been there and it was on a long strech of boring road and I really enjoyed the break...it was a corn field when I was there.
