Do you mean they produce an excess of CO2 over what they intake as part of their normal respiration?
ReplyDeleteWell I'm now confused... I thought they absorbed during the day and emitted at night... and I guess they have to absorb in order to emit... This study says they only emit Co2...
ReplyDeleteThe Forestry industry is a NET emitter of Co2. The study shows that in 2007 it emitted about 420 million tonnes of Co2 or 1.4% of global emissions.
