The Sun Goes Down On The Year That Was...

2012 was a year when, according to some,
the world was going to end. And for some, it did.
Some of us consider any day spent above ground and breathing a good one.
Some days are better than others but
all of them are damned good as far as I'm concerned and I'm thankful for all of them.
To all of you who've been following
The Flying Tortoise, thankyou for being aboard.
It's been a delight and a pleasure to post material that I've hoped would entertain, inform, amuse and inspire over the past year...

  2. Keith,
Thank you for taking us aboard!
We hope you are going on to entertain, inform, amuse and inspire us in 2013.

Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. (Hal Borland)

  5. Happy New Year to you.
I have been (until now) a 'silent' follower of your blog in 2012.
2013 will be the start of my own NZ touring adventures and I shall watch out for anything that remotely resembles a Flying Tortoise.
