A Beautiful Bedford Housetruck Named Agnes...

This beautiful Bedford housetruck seen
on The Tiny Life recently is very similar to the wonderful Rima Staine's gorgeous Horsebox housetruck that appears in Lloyd Kahn's fabulous Tiny Homes book.
Agnes, located somewhere in Cornwall has a marvelous drop down side door that can be used as a deck off the living area as well as some other delightfully designed features.
So why are you still living in a house...

Jypsy Jude. Queen Of New Zealand's Housetruckers...

Jypsy Jude is Queen of New Zealand's Housetruckers.
She has in her fifty years on the road, in one of over thirty housebuses and housetrucks she's owned, mostly Bedfords, covered many thousands of miles, seen and been seen in most parts of the country and brought much pleasure to all she's met.
These days she can sometimes be found with one of two Gypsy Fairs that travel the country.
She paints her very distinctive pictures, does Tarot readings and delights all with her style and presence.
I caught up with her a couple of weeks ago..
As always, she made my day.
There's an earlier post about Jypsy Jude here...

Beautiful Bedford Housebuses And Housetrucks On Show...

Despite the gloomy weather forecast and the less than bright economic conditions, with recently increased road user charges acting as a deterrent to driving long distances, twenty five Bedfords brought their owners to Lance Cryer's Bedford Heaven for the fourth annual and very successful Bedford Rally.
Instead of the the wet and slippery ground conditions distracting from the weekend, it added to the fun as nearly all the buses required towing in or out of their parking areas.
There was plenty of sunshine though and the local Farmer's Market and other businesses benefited by us being there.
Saturday night the local Thames group, Ukes On Fire entertained everyone as they sat under the stars and around the fires.
The weekend was great fun for everyone.
You probably wish you were there...
