Casa Brutale is an amazing minimalist concept created by Greek architects Laertis Antonius Ando Vassiliou and Pantelis Kampouropoulos and when completed, the structure just might sit on a cliff face overlooking the Aegean Sea.
The roof of the yet to be built modernist home is an infinity pool lined thankfully, with reinforced glass. Steel and concrete also feature.
In much abundance.
It's life on the edge...

Interesting, but nope. Not for me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there....
DeleteLooks like it would be hot with all that exposed glass.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I don't like it, though it's not altogether without imagination or beauty. It seems designed to appeal to the vanity of some oligarch or despot, like the pad of a Bond villain.
ReplyDeleteI have the impression that the architects may be responding subconsciously to the Greek economic situation. The water in the pool represents the liquidity of Greek banks. Just one little temblor and... Maybe the whole European economy is dangling over that cliff.
