Norman Szkop's Wonderful Aerial Images Of Tulip Fields In Bloom In North Holland...

French photographer Norman Szkop took
to the sky in a tiny Cessna piloted by Claython Pender to get these wonderful images of Tulip fields in bloom around Anna Paulowna, a little town in northern Holland.
There's many more images here.
Whatever else you might do today,
try to take time to smell the flowers...

  1. Those are just incredibly beautiful - do tulips have a scent?

  2. They surely are beautiful. I have been to the flower markets where they are sold. It's so vast it stretches further than you can see. The market has a fly over bridge so you look down on all the flowers.

  3. Hello Keith

This is my first comment but I have been looking at your blog every day for quite some time. Each time I have a smile in my face even before I see what the post will be. I know it will be an interesting, unique and precious post. I am very grateful that you're taking the time to find these great tidbits.

My husband and I took a year off a long time ago and travel around the world. It was not long enough to do it justice but long enough to get a flavor of several countries, our favorite is NZ. We hitchhiked the north and south islands. The country is spectacular but it's best asset is it's people. We can't stop talking when we start on the subject of NZ.

Thank you for brightening up my mornings.

    Cheers,

    Nicole
