Well known around the world, Jim 007 was operating his radio from his tiny camper at Tokerau Beach in New Zealand's Far North yesterday, chatting to his buddies on the West Coast of the US and beyond.Jim deliberately operates in close proximity to the sea as it's reflective and conductive properties really boost his signal.

How absolutely fascinating; in the isolated Far North of New Zealand on an even more isolated beautiful beach to be communicating with the other side of the world. Why do we need mobile phones?
