Being an avid reader, I've devoured many hundreds of books over the years but rarely have I enjoyed one such as this delicious book by this wonderful storyteller.Much of it has been read through eyes filled with tears of absolute joy as she's given me a taste of her life with her Venetian husband Fernando, her muse Barlozzo and other characters in this two hundred strong little Tuscan village of San Casciano.
This is a book filled with passion for life, food and love.
It is simply beautiful...
