Motorhoming in 1915...

Nearly one hundred years ago Roland and Mary Conklin of Huntington New York built this Old Woodie Gypsy Bus and set out to see America with their family in the summer of 1915.
Those were the days...

  1. They sure would have to be carefull of low bridges. But back then, I guess they would just have to watch out for low tree limbs and low flying birds. OH, I see, it is retractable.

    Buses of Burning Man..The pic with the white bus you can see my sons foot behind the guy in the skirt! And the girl is Amy my sons girlfriend. the bus belongs to an artist named David Best.
