Kat O'Sullivan's Amazing Technicolour World...

New York based artist Kat O'Sullivan's house, which is more like a psychedelic retreat,
featured here about three years ago when it was a work in progress.
It still is and likely to be forever.
And so too is anything this colourful character applies her wonderful wacky art to.
Kat is someone with a great sense of humour who does not do boring, applying a zillion shades of brilliance to everything around her.
You can check out the wonderful upcycled sweaters and clothing she's been creating for over twenty years here...

Wolfgang Feierbach's Amazing 1960's Futuristic Psychedelic Plastic House...

The 1960's was a crazy time for some and the young German designer Wolfgang Feierbach was determined to bring some colour back into the post-war era.
His Kunststoffhaus FG 2000 was constructed in the late 1960's and was one of a few prefabricated fibreglass and plastic houses designed and built at that time.
He designed most of the furniture with Dieter Rams and the company Rohm and Haas also contributing to the futuristic interior.
And the carpet on the ceiling?
God knows what drugs inspired that concept but they were designed by Verner Panton.
Thankyou Verner.
We've lived in some interesting times...

Psychedelic Living...

Katwise is the amazing lady who's the owner of this property and obviously she has a wonderful sense of the outrageous. And good on her.
She's lucky there aren't any bylaws prohibiting individual creative statements like hers.
Then again perhaps there are and the lady's ignoring them.
A technicolor dream.
I'm sure the neighbours love it.
It's evidently somewhere near Woodstock.
I found Katwise's wonderful personal and creative statement on Deek Diedrickson's wonderful site here.
His is another great place to visit for some alternative and fun thinking on living in small spaces...
