Is it the end of the road for human evolution.
And are we in the process of morphing

  2. I have just read an article which tells us that Insurance companies may start looking at our DNA profile to see what poxy diseases you are likely to have in the future so they can charge extra if you are a bad risk.

  5. There is a definite regression taking place in our human evolution. I see more and more neanderthals on the streets nowadays. Urban life is the perfect breeding ground for this so anyone enjoying freedom camping in the great outdoors would not necessarily be aware of what's happening.

  6. By friendly computers know all it will take is a bunch of idiots thinking that computers will take over man, to start a gorilla global war, where mistakes are made and we kill ourselves off. Computers just need to hide

  7. Evolution does not necessarily mean development toward greater complexity or higher intelligence. It just means adaptation of the organism to its environment. Jellyfish are fully evolved for their ecological niche, which is why they've changed little or not at all for millions of years. We're not nearly as well evolved as they are.

Any creature capable of believing that it needs to operate according to the dictates of neoliberal economics definitely needs to develop much higher intelligence. Nature and history alike can be counted on to teach us this - to the survivors among us, that is.
