It's not a new concept but it's still a good one.
It might have been the result of Marie who owned the bus getting together with boyfriend Dean and combining their resources.
They're setting up a lifestyle to suit themselves on the Columbia River Gorge near Portland on the Pacific Northwest of the US.
Right now they're working on a greenhouse
and gardens, keeping rabbits and pigs, living an off grid life with solar, an outside toilet and shower and Marie's special honey using local bees and the Bluebird Apiary label.
Lifestyle choices.
They've got to be good for you...

A good way to live. Simple.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Cool woodstove too!
ReplyDeleteThat's the first time I've ever seen that done with a Vanagon.
ReplyDeleteNot even a full-size school bus, but one for a limited passenger load, such as a special needs bus route. Efficient space use for a couple. Kewl!
ReplyDeleteThis thing cannot be road legal or even warm.
ReplyDeleteA bit of slap dash .
This 'thing' you refer to Anonymous is someone's pride and joy. It doesn't matter whether or not it's road legal, and it doesn't look slap dash to me. I'm sure that it's warm and does appear inviting to me.
DeleteKnow that comments of a rude and derogatory nature will not be published especially by someone who hasn't the cojones to put their name to them...
Whay do they use the top wagon bit for? And how do they get up there. Intriguing. Pip
ReplyDeleteThere's a very vertical ladder in photo six and the Vanagon space is their bedroom...
