The Flying Tortoise is spending a few days at Whangarei's beautiful Parua Bay.
The fishing's good, looking at yachts is always a favourite pastime and the sun is shining.
Whangarei is the largest town in Northland and is one of the most forward thinking and welcoming of housebuses in New Zealand.
There are many very good companies who provide essential services to them and the hundreds of blue water cruisers who sail thousands of miles to enjoy the hospitality and beauty of Whangarei's Town Basin Marina.
