Mimicking the dunes of the Inner Mongolian Desert and inspired by the lavish architecture of Dubai, the city of Ordos has been built to reflect the new wealth of China.Ordos boasts newly constructed housing and beautifully designed civic buildings such as this passive solar museum.
But a major problem is that the city remains virtually empty with people reluctant to move to this radically designed city.
