Walking Made Easy....

What an amazing time I'm having.
Twenty hours after surgery by the highly respected Orthopedic Surgeon Ali Bayan, I'm up and walking.
And for the first time in many many years, without the pain that has been with me all that time. I now have a very expensive Titanium hip joint where the original used to be.
The Waitakere Hospital is a great choice of hospitals with this newly established orthopedic unit staffed by dedicated and wonderful nurses and other health professionals giving patients everything they need to recover happily and quickly.
I'm delighted to be able to post this today but I'm full of drugs and what I need is sleep.
So right now, that's what I'll do...

  1. So glad to hear you are up and about! Take care and get fully recovered, soon!!

  2. Great news that you are up and about and sounding quite chipper. Have an easy recovery.

  3. Pleased all went well with the surgery...get well soon...Cheers

  4. Rest up for all that walking you are going to do.

  5. That Dr Ali must have seen a long line of grumpy bastards turn into men of charm and it's your turn! (Cut to Levy loping along a sunlit beach, dashing headlong into the surf without a care in the world). Lots of love for a speedy recovery. Ben and H XX

  6. Good on you - you will be collecting pinecones in time for the cool nights ahead.

  7. Kept checking back to see your progress. Great news so far. Sending positive thoughts from this side of the world.

  8. Hi Keith

Glad to hear all went well, looking forward to seeing again on the road somewhere. Iain and Zia (the red shade)
