A few of you might remember back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries perhaps and recall halcyon days at the beach where the family would, at places like Brighton in England, rent these Bathing Machines so they could change their clothes and step straight into the sea.
Personally I don't remember,
but they look like fun...

Wonderful! But just before my time!
ReplyDeleteOh, they are Bathing machines...Just when I was thinking they were the predecessors of the mobile home, and that the people were gathering shellfish. Silly me! Would come in handy, you couldnt park much closer to the beach and you would have undiminished views of such as the Hen & Chickens...Er, wonder if they come in green....
