Twenty three years ago today, on April 22, 1987, I underwent a triple bypass operation. In those days there was a 70/30 chance of surviving this most invasive surgery. I wrote some letters and said goodby to family and friends... just in case.Today I celebrate life and living as we might all do and as I do every day.
