Amazing isn't it, how man can launch a spacecraft, spend ten years chasing a speeding comet for a few billion miles around space and
then land on it but can't find a cure for the common cold...

Cures would put too many medical people out of work, so why should they work toward something that will make them obsolete. . . Maybe we could send them to a comet. . .

ReplyDeleteCuring the common cold and other illnesses is a matter of building up our natural immunity. I've been a natural food healer and practitioner for 20 years and it has been my experience that we all want a magic pill or injection that will heal us (yes, me included). We prefer to transgress all natural laws of health and proper nutrition and still come out fit as a fiddle. Popping that pill seems like the thing to do but it's only symptom manipulation with oodles of side effects.
ReplyDeleteI eat a healthy, low sodium & sugar diet, walk daily with my two dogs & at age 78, have not had a cold since college. My grandmother lived to 100 & could not remember ever having a cold.
