Tiny Homes On Wheels From Here And There To Get You Going...

I don't know where they came from and
I don't know where they've been. I don't know if they're still going and it doesn't matter. They've been over all sorts of roads least travelled and helped to realise many folk's dreams.
They may inspire you.
If you can dream it, you can do it...

  1. My father used to have an old Citroen H van like the red one. It was an old army one, with a speed regulator, you could only drive it up to 60kms an hour! It lasted years, until my older brother, in his wisdom (or lack of) removed the regulator... Within a short time, one of the pistons went through the engine casing... I'd love to get my hands on one now, it would make and excellent camper.

  4. The green/orange VW is still around (second photo) - it's owned by a palm reader who travels around Australia doing readings :)

Tiny houses are somewhat of a novelty or sideshow act for some people, but Tumbleweed Tiny Houses (www.tumbleweedhouses.com) (I have no affiliation) have some great plans for sale as well as completed homes (for US readers).

Here is a YouTube vid of a teenager who built his own as a school project. His aim was to have somewhere to live when he went away to college the following year.

    Smaller, simpler, happier.
