How Mad Is The World Going To Get Before It Ends...
How mad is the world going to get before it ends.
R.I.P Moaz al-Kasasbeh...
I'm sorry I saw those photos.....I didn't need that to feed into my memory - i had avoided looking at any images... Those guys are beyond words and social media or any media only feeds them. It is a crazy world.
I understand PB. I thought long and hard about the pain the images would cause and then I thought of the pain, horror, terror and anguish Moaz Al-Kasabeh had to endure. I published this post for him and his family. Their pain needed to be shared. Their pain is now our pain...
These are hard times and we all need to question ourselves and what it is to be human. I understand why you published the photos. These people are a sad indictment on the human race. I hope it brings out the best in the rest of us.
I think it's their beliefs that make them do this. People aren't just motivelessly evil - or, if any, very few and rare psychopaths are so. I think it must be the case that in their minds, they're doing something righteous. There must exist a need to be careful what we choose to believe in - a moral imperative to be intelligent, and I don't mean just intellectually intelligent.
Some belief systems seem to activate only the reptilian brain, to the exclusion of anything like empathy or compassion.
Who knows what motivates the type of heinous and despicable act the world witnessed in the last day or so. But certainly 'social media' is playing a leading role in these crimes against humanity. It is without a doubt a weapon of mass instruction and destruction and one these people know how to use in masterful fashion to achieve devastating results...
I think it's a perverted and twisted form of sharia law. But I also think that the young people who go to fight from other countries are probably the type who are open to being corrupted.

DeleteIt's sad to think that the only way to stop their violence is... More violence.
ReplyDeleteWhen is enough Enough?
You are so right Tim...
DeleteEverybody in the world correctly identifies them as terrorists---except the sympathizer in the White House!
