Hitching Your Tiny Home To A Bicycle...

A bit like hitching your wagon to a star really.
It's also like taking a dream and, if you're fit enough, making it happen.
Take a simple concept and keep it that way.
A fun way of living and going further for less.
The reality is that it wouldn't be that easy to ride a bicycle towing a little home but, it is possible.
Anything is...

Teach Nollaig. A Beautiful Humble Tiny Home On Wheels In Ireland's Kilkenny...

Noel Higgins from Ireland's Kilkenny has built a beautiful, humble tiny house on wheels that's a delight to the senses.
It's called Teach Nollaig.
Made from locally sourced materials including raw sheep's wool for insulation, it's one of the few tiny homes on wheels in Ireland.
Noel knows well the secrets to living well on a small income and walks the talk.
Simple living, freedom from debt and reducing living costs all go to making life simpler, happier and stress free.
He's knows that tiny house living is a move away from consumerism and there's less room to accumulate stuff that clutters one's life.
One feature I really like is Noel's simple method of water heating. He's created a wood burning stove made from an empty gas cylinder and wound copper piping around the flue.
Not only does it look good, I'm sure it works wonderfully well.
A fifty watt solar panel charging one twelve volt battery provides power for lighting, his laptop and mobile phone.
Teach Nollaig is a wonderful lesson in keeping things simple...

Larry And Dave Love Taking Their Children For A Walk...

Larry and Dave are such good, caring and devoted fathers who wouldn't let anything or anyone harm their kids.
And they welcome the opportunity to spend quality time with them.
They're such loving and considerate husbands too, giving their wives a much needed break from the demands of their toddlers.
Now look after your fathers both mothers jokingly told their little ones as they left for a stroll on Sunday afternoon...

This Wonderful Old Gypsy Styled Lady Of The Road Is A Visual Delight...

This 1929 Chevrolet Gypsy styled little home on wheels is one beautiful old lady of the road.
She will've done more miles than you and I've had hot dinners and think of the stories she'd have heard around the fire at night.
And the dreams that she's seen dreamed and witnessed come to fruition.
Yes, she's been here once before but I've just found another couple of images of this grand old bohemian dame and wanted to share them.
The pity is they don't make them like her anymore...

A Simply Gorgeous Floating Boathouse On The Tiny Island Of Culebra...

A man and his floating shed.
Is it a boathouse or a houseboat.
I don't know and it matters not.
It's gorgeous and you'll want to live in it.
You might like the tiny island of Culebra too.
I was visiting my friend MJ, she's an entrepreneur on the island which I know you know, is situated between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Evidently what happens on Culebra doesn't always stay on Culebra.
If you listen closely, you'll hear surf on the sand. Or roosters crowing. There's salty air and wonderful gardens. Freshly baked bread in the background. Beauty and beasties.
You've got the idea, a real life paradox.
Have a look but don't tell anyone...

The European Designed QuQuQ Conversion Kit Can Transform An Ordinary Van Into A Camper Van In A Moment...

QuQuQ. A damned funny name isn't it.
I don't even know how to say it.
Anyway, it's a basic box and a mattress and it fits into a range of van-type people movers and can convert it into a two person tiny house on wheels in a jiffy. Or a minute or two at least.
There's more about it here but for my money and much less of it, I'd sooner have the fun of making my own and giving it a name I can pronounce...
