The Hidden Truth...
The hidden truth and the sometimes painful price paid in perfecting and performing one's art...
I don't like toe slippers. Isadora Duncan didn't either. She felt they force the foot into a form and postures that don't come to it naturally. Surely it must be possible to develop a great dance tradition that doesn't require this.
It's all the fault of Louis XIV - the same guy who brought us topiary gardening.
She has the wrong shoes on for playing soccer or kicking a football. . .
