If you ever go across the sea to Ireland.
Then maybe at the closing of your day. You'll sit and watch the moon rise over Claddagh.
And see the sun go down on Galway Bay.
But even if you don't do all that Arthur Colahan wrote of in his beautiful song Galway Bay,
you should know that Neasa Clissmann has a beautiful horse drawn Gypsy caravan waiting
just for you.
One with a horse called Henry was waiting for Thomas Breathnach and his partner who were recently there enjoying the life that most only dream about.
He tells their story here.
Perhaps you'll go there and make your own adventure and pen your own lyrics.
To your own song...
that would be my dream to see a little of the land my family came from
ReplyDeleteI've never been much for set up vacations but this one is pretty alluring...what a way to see some of that beautiful countryside. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteThese are fairly plain & unadorned when compared to others you have featured, & they seem to be identical.
ReplyDeleteNot much creativity or imagination. Think I'd prefer the horse & a good saddle.
