Here's probably the most eco-friendly, inexpensive iphone speaker you could possibly have and it looks good too.A great combination of high and low tech.
Take a length of bamboo, about 300mm long by 50mm diameter, cut a snug fitting slot in it, slip in your iphone and it's done.
The sound reverberates through the pipe and amplifies the sound. It could work well with many tiny radio and music players.
Simple eh...
