I found this tiny house on wheels sometime ago, parked up on its way from somewhere
to some other place.
Approximately four metres long and two metres wide, it's a lightweight, towable, simple little home for when you wish to stay where you are or get away from it all...

Mona Lisa. She's Air Today...
Maybe she'll be gone tomorrow.
The humorous and talented artist Larry Moss uses 'airigami' translated literally, meaning 'folding air' to create wonderfull works of art. You can see more on amusingplanet.com
Starting out as a street performer twenty five years ago, he's displayed his 'balloon art' in many countries around the world.
I guess he sells them at highly inflated prices...

Riotous Behaviour...
Scott Jones and his girlfriend Alex Thomas got caught up in the turbulent ice hockey finals riots when the Canadian Canucks lost to the Boston Bruins.
Alex was knocked to the ground, injured, and while the chaos continued around them, Mr Jones was photographed kissing her, comforting his love as one would in times of strife.
A great photo from Getty Images.
It's all about seizing the moment...

A Big Green Toy...
This grunty looking machine is the new Sora Electric Motorcycle by Lito Green Motion, a Canadian company.
Thanks to its 12 kwh lithium-polymer battery which is guaranteed for the life of the bike, it has a range of 300 kilometres and a top speed of 200kph. On just one charge.
The features are amazing. A state of the art GPS system of course. An electric seat for warming ones bum. A regenerative braking system that recharges the battery and naturally, it's made from aircraft grade materials for lightness of being.
And it's only $42,399 in Canadian currency...

Listen To This...
Here's probably the most eco-friendly, inexpensive iphone speaker you could possibly have and it looks good too.
A great combination of high and low tech.
Take a length of bamboo, about 300mm long by 50mm diameter, cut a snug fitting slot in it, slip in your iphone and it's done.
The sound reverberates through the pipe and amplifies the sound. It could work well with many tiny radio and music players.
Simple eh...

Look At This: Eyelid Art...
Makeup artist Katie Alves creates beautifully detailed pieces of art using every day cosmetics and draws intricate scenes on eyelids.
She works as a graphic artist at a print shop in Port Perry, near her home in Ontario, Canada.
Each eye may take up to two hours to complete depending on the complexity of the illustration. You can see more on www.amusingplanet.com

To Whom It May Concern...
To the ignorant, arrogant, lazy, littering bastards who left their rubbish for others to clean up at New Zealand's beautiful Kaiaua Shellbank, I have this to say to you. Not that you are likely to read it because you are probably illiterate.
I'm a placid man, not one prone to violence, but your actions have tended to take me over an invisible edge and so, for you, I'm prepared to make an exception.
If I ever find you depositing your litter anywhere in my beautiful country other than a rubbish facility, I will somehow tie you up, cut off your genitalia with a blunt and rusty instrument, stuff it in your mouth, pour petrol over you, leave you lying in some fresh cow dung and then, then you cretins, I might really get nasty...

Crater Cove Shack...
Here's one of the beautiful historic little shacks in the Sydney Harbour National Park.
I found this one on Tiny House Blog. You'll find others there.
Thankfully there are many like this, retained as part of the Australian heritage with volunteer caretakers looking after the maintenance of these delightful little places...

A Simple Brick Oven...
This delightful, inexpensive and simple brick oven took only a couple of hours to make and was immediately fired up when finished. A short time later, out came the first perfect pizzas.

Tickets Please...
Cambodia has had over the last few years, one of the worst train networks in the world. So locals in the northeast city of Battambang created their own rail system using bamboo and abandoned train wheels.
Powered by a small engine with a series of fanbelts attached somehow to the wheels, they speed along at about 40kph with 20 people on board.
There's no first class, no dining car and you can't book a seat. There are none.
Locals call them 'Norries'.
Tourists call them 'Bamboo Trains'.
And of course the bureaucrats are tying to de-rail them...

Have Breakfast With Me...
I've started the day with a couple of Kiwifruit each day now for about thirty years and really believe them to be one of the best fruits there is for keeping excellent health. They have five times the amount of Vitamin C that supplement pills have and they look and taste so great too.
And then there's one of my favourites, Poached Eggs on Vogels toast, a bit of basil, sea salt and ground black pepper.
Mmmm, so yummy...
