Granny Goes Swimming...
Torrential rains have hit the Coromandel and are expected to continue for a few days. Yuppie Gran was making her way home from Fantail Bay, probably thinking about life afloat when she got a bit carried away. Lucky she was wearing a life jacket...
She was towed out some hours later when the water level lowered. A couple of small fish in the glove compartment, a ruined motor and a tale to tell the grandchildren...

Wow. I hope there isn't much damage and it got to higher ground (relative to the water, anyway) safely.
