Lucky San Francisco Now Has Authentic Neapolitan Wood Fired Pizzas On A Truck...

San Franciscans now have Del Popolos wood-fired Pizza truck which is possibly the world's largest mobile pizza oven, where they can get absolutely authentic Neapolitan pizzas.
They'll find the truck's downtown location, which will vary, via Twitter.
Pizzaiolo Johnathan Darsky imported a massive five thousand pound Stefano Ferrara oven, installed it in a recycled shipping container, proceeded to spend squillions of dollars on city compliances and the fit-out and now has a modern kitchen that opens out to the public.
Darsky's pizza crusts are said to be perfectly tender and crisp, his tomato sauce sublime, and the flavour and texture rivals the best.
The Margherita, one of the most popular Neapolitan style pizzas, topped with tomato, fresh mozzarella, extra virgin oil and sea salt is all yours for a mouth watering US$10.
I wonder if he'd deliver...

Meet Stella McQueen, New Nomad, Ecologist, Writer And Fish Geek...

Giving up her day job a few months ago,
Stella secured a contract from a publishing house to write her second book,
'Freshwater Fish In New Zealand'.
She then got in her new, old camper aptly named Maxine van Ford and headed off to explore this beautiful country, trying to be disciplined enough to write enough words a day so the book can be published sometime next year.
There are seventy different freshwater fish species in New Zealand.
Stella knows them intimately and talks fondly of them all.
They speak highly of her too.
Soon, she'll be meeting up with top wild-life photographer Rod Morris who'll add his images to her words.
She's at Uretiti for a couple of days on her way to somewhere to meet as many new fish and fish geeks as she can...

Play Me I'm Yours...

Scattered around Canada's Toronto
are forty one specially painted pianos.
Each one yours to play.
Each one celebrating a nation taking part in the 2015 Pan American Games. And each old recycled piano has it's own story of where it comes from, painted by an artist from one of the countries, the colours, designs and themes reflecting the wonderful diversity of cultures.
The original idea belonged to artist Luke Jerram and thirty 'street pianos' were spread around London as part of the Play Me I'm Yours Festival.
Since then the wonderful idea has gone to San Paulo, New York, Malta, Geneva, Cincinnati, Sydney and more.
Luke's idea was simple, to get strangers to stop and talk with each other, to break down barriers to communicaion. Radical thinking Luke.
Now people are not only playing pianos, they're actually singing on the streets.

What happens when the world's fastest cat meets the world's slowest and smallest car and decides it would be a good addition to the lunch menu.
The cat chases it and attempts to eat it.
This all happened at the Longleat Safari Park in Britain's Wiltshire when the intrepid Daily Mail man Paul Harris was 'on safari' in a 1960's Trident Peel Electric car.
